Polio Problems In Pakistan: Relation Of War Against Terrorism With It

WHO has recently impose travel restrictions on three countries including Pakistan. Before saying a word on these restrictions and accusing Pakistanis not to control these disease, one should know the events took place in history which affected the polio campaigns in Pakistan and are still affecting them.

Whole world knows about the so called "Operation Neptune Spear" which was carried out in Pakistan to kill the ghost of Osama Bin Laden. I am not discussing that if it was a drama or real operation but I am only concerned with its consequences. This operation was responsible to vitiate the polio campaigns in whole Pakistan.

The agents of super power took access in the shapes of Polio Workers, to the area where they carried out their operation. They then entered the Pakistani territory and performed their tasks which provoked Pakistani public and a massive public who lives in those areas raised against the polio campaigns. Everyone knows that Pakistan is sacrificing with money, land and lives in this so called War against terrorism which has nothing to do with Pakistan but Pakistan is still fighting this war for their merciless masters.

This war has damaged Pakistan too its roots and the rise in Polio Cases in Pakistan is also due to this war. After this incident, the terrorists have found a pretext to attack on polio workers due to which a number of workers and volunteers working in polio campaign have died in attacks. These terrorists are getting some external aid and orders.

Pakistan had controlled polio to a great extent and we were near to call it as a polio free state before that operation but after it the number of polio cases has increased in the country. Workers are refusing to work as polio worker due to fear of death.

At this stage, UNO should also try to control Big Mad Elephants who are damaging Pakistan from terrorism.
